We’re a team of volunteers, patients, and professionals who strive to provide a centre for anyone in need of support or care. We are brought together by one shared goal: to restore this beautiful old town house and turn it into a safe, caring home for everbody. Step by step, room by room, we’re working to create a space filled with comfort, dignity, and warmth for those who need it most.

What Do We Do?

Our support focuses on the things that really make a difference to people’s lives. We host a wide range of wellbeing and lifestyle activities, including walks, social get-togethers, and day trips. We also offer hair and beauty sessions, along with relaxation and pain-relief massages in our treatment areas. And beyond the everyday supports, we run some of our most-loved events - trips, parties, and our Balls - celebrating community, friendship, and all the brilliant memories shared with those who have been part of the mischief along the way.

Therapy Treatments

Our specialist therapy treatments provide safe, gentle support for people affected by cancer and its treatments.

Massage Therapy

We provide gentle, supportive massage therapy for people living with cancer, helping to improve comfort, relaxation, and emotional wellbeing. Offered free of charge to patients receiving active hospital treatment, these sessions use light, nurturing touch adapted to individual needs. Massage can ease tension, reduce stress and anxiety, support pain management, improve sleep, and offer comforting human connection during a challenging time, helping patients feel calmer, more grounded, and supported alongside their medical care.

Lymphoedema Drainage

Alongside manual massage, we offer lymphoedema drainage using the Physiopod Deep Tissue Oscillator, a gentle, non-invasive therapy designed for oncology patients. This advanced treatment helps reduce swelling, pain, scar tissue, and tissue restriction while improving circulation and comfort, providing safe, tailored support for those affected by cancer and its treatments.

Hair & Beauty Treatments

A cancer diagnosis and its treatment can profoundly affect how a person feels about themselves. Our hair and beauty treatments are designed to support patients during this time, offering gentle, specialist care that helps them feel more like themselves again.

Hair Care and Scalp Support

Our hair and scalp services support people affected by cancer-related hair loss and scalp sensitivity, focusing on comfort, care, and reassurance. Through gentle scalp treatments, practical guidance, and sensitive support during hair loss and regrowth, we help patients feel more confident, supported, and in control during a challenging time.

Beauty Therapies

Our oncology-safe beauty therapies support skin, nail, and facial changes caused by cancer treatment, using approved products and gentle techniques to ensure comfort and safety. These treatments help soothe sensitive skin, care for hands and feet, restore facial definition, and promote relaxation, supporting both physical comfort and emotional wellbeing.

Podiatry Services

Our podiatry services provide gentle, specialist foot care for people affected by cancer treatment, addressing issues such as dryness, soreness, nail changes, and discomfort. Delivered with care and sensitivity, these treatments help maintain foot health, improve comfort and mobility, and support overall wellbeing during and after treatment.

Our Holistic Approach to Cancer Care

Our hair and beauty services, therapies together with professional counselling, form an integral part of our holistic cancer care approach, working alongside medical treatment to support the whole person—physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Counselling is available on a one-to-one basis as well as through group sessions, offering a safe, confidential space for individuals to explore their feelings, share experiences, and find emotional support.

Whether someone is at the beginning of their cancer journey, in active treatment, or adjusting to life after treatment, these services provide gentle, nurturing support tailored to their individual needs. For cancer patients, counselling is offered free of charge, ensuring emotional support is accessible when it is needed most.

By providing specialist hair, beauty, podiatry and counselling services within our cancer care unit, we help patients feel supported, respected, and cared for at every stage of their journey.
